Hello,
I guess this feature is implemented in Gnus even if I didn't check.
I just want to know if there are special constraints in the image
format ? I mean what kind of image type can I use for that ?

As it's not mentioned in the Gnus manual, I don't think that it's
implemented in Gnus.
BTW, what is "X-Image-Url"? Which newsreaders do support it?

It appears to replace the 'X-Face' header as the URL was an image of the
sender's face.
Normally EXMH and Mail.app support it AFAIK. I am pretty sure other can
do this too.

I don't think that sounds like a good idea. It could be used to
track whether you read mail, and so on.
An email client shouldn't connect to anything unless the user
specifically requests it.
