(this has been happening for ages, btw)

I have gnus-article-display-picons in my gnus-article-display-hook
(it's displaying in the article buffer)

Every article seems to display both text for the hostname and the
picons, but it's all mixed up, eg.

dsiu@adobe.[xpm for .com].[xpm for adobe].com

Presumably this isn't correct behaviour ?

Andrew

I am using the same setting and don't see this happening. What version of
gnus are you using? rgnus-0.81 seems to display picons right:

ie: dsiu@[xpm for Adobe].com

  ajc> Presumably this isn't correct behaviour ?

I think so.

Try edebug-defun at gnus-article-display-picons and see what went wrong
there.

Hmm... I haven't heard anything like this from anyone really... The
question is, what exactly are you doing differently. Can you send me
the picons related stuff out of your .gnus file?

ajc> Presumably this isn't correct behaviour ?

Nope, it certainly isn't.

Wes
