Hmm. I'm not convinced this is the right thing. I think I'd prefer that the file in the drafts folder created immediately, so auto-saves happen and it's easy to recover if my emacs dies. Besides, what if I want to save _everything_ I compose, no matter what state I leave it in (empty, unfinished, sent), but subject it to expiry? --Paul
