Subject: Problem with gnus-auto-center-summary in v8.5.3
Date: 15 Feb 2000 19:14:21 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <rabt5ijptu.fsf@nitrogen.epact.se> (raw)

I have always had gnus-auto-center-summary set to nil since I do not
want to auto-center the summary-buffer every time I read an article or
mail.

In 8.5.2 and earlier the cursor has always been seen in the buffer, but
in 8.5.3 and the latest CVS archive I do not see the cursor att all,
actually it does not scroll down at all. It stays at the top of the
buffer.

Maybe this is XEmacs-related (21.1.8). I have checked the cvs diff of
gnus-sum.el and gnus-xmas.el but I did not find anything obvious.

When I set gnus-auto-center-summary to t it works, ie I see the article
both in the article-buffer and the summary-buffer. But I'd rather set it
to nil...

-Magnus.
