My memory of nearly a month ago is a bit fuzzy, so I'm not *entirely* sure what I was referring to (especially since the actual incident would have been at least a month before that), but my best guess is that I was trying to use SMTP on smtp.gmail.com I also strongly suspect that my inability to get it to work was due to user error, not GnuTLS.
