when i switched to 4.26 my nnfolder+archive files behaved as though the
active file had vanished, and M-G returned "Empty group: ...". after
poking around for a while (fiddling the active file, .newsrc.eld and using
the debugger) i switched back to 4.25 and the files came back. oddly
during one debug session it worked but i don't know enough about things
to speculate why.
