Using /bin/mail in research unix to send mail to a local user will result in a mail with no From: line. The intention is that one should use the `From ' line for replies. The system administrator at research.att.com insists that this is the correct behaviour, and that everyone else are wrong. They were first. However, I'm more concerned about files create with `FCC:' by mail agents, that's the only source for `From:' less mail I know of outside AT&T.
