Attachments is all I can imagine _I_ would use MIME composing for.

I like plain text, especielly for mail.  But I have occationally
missed the ability to add files as attachments.

Then again, it can also be implemented in terms of plain MIME.  I'm
not sure going through MML would offer any benefits.  Plain MIME _is_
a markup language, just not a very pretty one.
