Subject: PGP verifying should not ask per default
Date: 18 Nov 2000 13:08:13 +0100 [thread overview]

I just meet my first gpg-signed message on a public mailing list since
support was intergarted into Gnus, and Gnus asked if it should verify
the message.
I think that is wrong, Gnus should not ask questions about what to do
when you read mail or news normally. It is very intrusive, especially
for newsgroups and mailing list where you just browse. Only if you
start pressing buttons or give special commands should Gnus ask
questions.
I.e. `mm-verify-option' should have another default value. Maybe
"never".
