Me too. I think XOR is the best we can do with one color. With two colors, would it be possible to first print a large blue logo, then print the white xfaces *on top of* that? It would give an effect that was robust to the white/blue placement (it wouldn't really matter much). However, large areas of the shirt would be printed on twice. The logo would need to be large, as the x-faces are mostly white, to most of the logo would be obscured.
