Subject: [0.74]: can't display x-faces with emacs & xv
Date: 28 Jan 1999 13:57:40 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ruon2336uh7.fsf@banshee.wolfram.com> (raw)
Pterodactyl Gnus v0.74
GNU Emacs 20.3.1 (i586-unicent-linux-gnu, X toolkit)
of Thu Aug 20 1998 on banshee
200 dragonfly.wolfram.com InterNetNews NNRP server INN 1.5.1 17-Dec-1996 ready (posting ok).
xv version 3.10a
With an article selected in the Summary buffer, I type W f. Then xv
opens and displays the following error;
File '/tmp/xva01078' contains no data. (Zero length file.)
C-h k W f returns:
W f runs the command gnus-article-display-x-face
which is an interactive Lisp function.
(gnus-article-display-x-face &optional INTERACTIVE &rest ARGS)
Look for an X-Face header and display it if present.
