Is the variable in 5.3 shipped with emacs19.34? A recent change to nnoo-change-server (in rgnus-0.67) is causing your problem, however. You probably set something to 'nnml-address' in one of the following places: gnus-select-method gnus-secondary-select-methods or for other servers via editting the group parameters with 'G e' or editting the server entry in the server buffer. I would tend to guess you have it in your gnus-secondary-select-methods. Removing it from there should fix your problems. Or if you wish to keep it (for some reason), you should be able to stick at the top of your .gnus file: (defvar nnml-address nil "Mmmm, tasty frogs.") -- David Moore | Computer Systems Lab __o UCSD Dept.
