	It works fine for me, but I have the compface library linked
into my xemacs rather than calling out the external versions.  And as I
don't have the external versions, I can't test it.

	You might want to look at the setting of
`gnus-article-x-face-command' compared to previous versions.  Or the code
which uses that variable.
