Actually, I've recently discovered that I have a different profiling problem I need to solve: hardaker 3772 6.1 30.9 87020 78868 pts/2 S 13:15 2:43 xemacs ^^^^^ ^^^^^ I really don't like a 80 meg resident application running on my machine. I think this was a recent change of some kind and I'm not sure what's done it. I'm pretty sure it was a recent update of Gnus. I keep meaning to run xemacs for a while without running gnus to see if Gnus really is the responsible party for the memory leak, but, well, I just can't seem to run xemacs that long without starting up Gnus...
