I thought I'd start with something simple, like the user formatting and insert something boring then. From what I gather: 1) I can't find a way given a header structure to return a generic header (say x-my-gnus-is-cool:). You only have access to the contents of the header structure. 2) There should be a way to get a generic header given the message id, but its hard to wade through all the gnus functions looking for it. 3) its likely that if #2 is possible, it'll be slow. yes?
