I am also getting "Sign failed". I am using gnus head and epg head from
fairly recently. I use gnupg 1.4.9 with the agent from gpg2. Typically
I can hit ^C^C again and have the message be signed and sent. This
seems to happen more often with large messages, but small messages
sometimes fail as well.
