There's a date span below it as a clue, but I'm stumped. Also, it hit me a couple of days ago (months too late) that the Gnus logo actually spells something ("Gnus", perhaps? ;> ). Or am I just seeing things? The 'G' looks reasonably clear, maybe an 'n' in the front legs, but the trailing 'u' and 's' harder to get. Are they the two upper curves of the back and hind legs?
