Subject: How to NOT fontify .overviews?
Date: 02 Jun 1996 14:45:17 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <tjafymidcy.fsf@filippo> (raw)
I'm using XEmacs 19.13 and auto-fontifying. I like to be able to read
text files with fontification, but when my .overview files are read I
have to wait while they're being fontified.
I suppose the same applies to SCORE and ADAPT files but I don't see
the messages, perhaps because the files are small. I would like to be
able to have these files fontified when I'm editting them though.
Does anybody have a solution to this?
It seems there should be a difference between reading in a file that
is to be used by Emacs and reading in one that is to be read by a
human.
