Hello,

I am still facing problems with Agent.

Today's bug:

I did 'J s' in the group buffer and let the agent does it job (took
some time since I deleted all my agent hierarchy as suggested).

So all was downloaded/fetched (with a agent--predicate set to true).

When done, I entered several to check the presence of the agent
downloaded mark on all my articles ie. '+'. All was right.

Then I had to reboot my computer, so I left Emacs thus Gnus.

When the machine had rebooted, I started Gnus again and entered the
same groups and then no article was marked as downloaded anymore :(

Furthermore, entering groups has the same effect than I had 2/3 days
ago: it takes long. Gnus download each time its active file for each
group !

I am really going nuts right now since for me and temporary for Gnus
all was ok.

I don't have any backtrace but can produce one if needed.

Any idea, piece of advice is keen welcome :)

Regards,

zeDek

The agent's record of which articles have been downloaded is read from
disk when the summary buffer is opened. Use debug-on-entry to step
through gnus-agent-load-alist. I suspect that the agent, for unknown
reasons, is getting confused about where it is storing a group's
articles. If that is the case, you'll find that the agent can't load
the .agentview file for the group.

Kevin
