This message seems to not have made it through the first time. Odd.
With all this intriguing discussion of MIME, I return to a subject that
keeps niggling in the back of my head.
Is anyone using Gnus + Mime on an NT version of emacs? I realize that I
need to pick up some decoding software, but are there good choices for
working with emacs on an NT box? Currently, I save all MIME messages and
decode them with munpack. I can create multipart messages that way too,
but it is messy.
If someone has a good setup, can you tell me (us?) what all needs to be
done?

I don't understand what you mean. What kind of "decoding software"
are you talking about?

Yes. Me and another guy I work with (Hi Morgan). I'm sure there are
more though. :-)

I have no decoding software. Gnus can do base64 encoding and decoding
in elisp (a tad slowly). Same for uuencode/decode.
Emacs is supposed to have built in commands for base64
encoding/decoding in some future version, so I haven't bothered
investigating external decoding programs.

The normal pgnus decoding commands should work. No "save to file"
step is necessary.

No special setup is necessary -- at least I didn't need it.
