Subject: Asynchronous Message Send?
Date: Tue, 05 Apr 2005 09:25:24 -0400	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <uacodjqyj.fsf@boost-consulting.com> (raw)

Lately I typically experience delays of 18-60 seconds when sending
mail or newsgroup postings. This can in part be attributed to systems
that verify sender addresses and an intentional delay in the MX to
foil spammers, so it's not Gnus' (or message's) fault. But I could
use almost any other system and not notice the problem, because they
will send mail in the background while I'm doing other work. Is there
any way to get the same effect with Gnus? It's driving me crazy!

Thanks,
