No; just nntp and nnml groups. (The problem happens in both.)
And I've had another mail-losing issue. I was about 1000 messages behind
in this list, reading a chunk at a time by answering with a smaller number
when prompted for the number of articles to read while entering the group.
Suddenly there were no unread messages even though there should have been
several hundred; Gnus just lost track of them. I am certain that I did not
do a catchup.
Unfortunately since I cannot duplicate any of these problems at will I'm
resigned to deal with them.
