Hi,

I composed a message today and inserted the `Reply-to' tag using the menu. I
typed `nobody@localhost' but when I received the message from the mailinglist,
it says `Reply-To: nobody@LOCALHOST.cs.cmu.edu'. Any way to prevent this from
happening?

Thanks,
Stefan.

Yes. Do not set the Reply-To: header to `nobody@localhost'.

It is incorrect, there is no good reason to do so, and it is rather
unfriendly behavior.

Justin,

announce something on the RedHat list once and you will receive a ton of error
messages. Some mail system couldn't deliver, other bozos tell me that they are
on vacation and will read the mail later (via an autoresponder) -- I'm sick of
it and was looking for a way to prevent this. Any alternatives?

cu
Stefan.

I believe this rewriting was done by sendmail (or whatever MTA you
have).

Can you use procmail? Delivering DAEMON responses to separate folder
is piece of cake.
