Hi,
I have a problem which occurs only in Emacs and not in XEmacs. pgnus starts xv
even if there is no image in a mail. For example, pgnus starts xv in Hrvoje's
recent mail <kigr9t5y7xz.fsf@jagor.srce.hr>. What could be the source of this
problem?
Thanks,
Stefan

Found that out myself: do not use gnus-article-display-x-face in
gnus-article-display-hook. Anyway, it is odd that gnus uses xv to display the
x-face.

Because that is the only way to display it under FSF Emacs?

Well, pgnus extracts x-face files into /tmp that are empty. Then xv is started
and -- of course -- bitches about the empty file. A bug?

Do you have the commands specified by gnus-article-x-face-command in
your path?

Why odd? Can Emacs display the x-face inline? If not (though I
understand that the TM/semi group came up with a way to do it in a
MULE enabled Emacs, I couldn't get it to work in 20.3), an external
program is the only way to display it.
