Subject: What's up with ~/Mail/mail/misc ?
Date: 16 Sep 1997 10:38:22 -0400 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <upkg1r5s4rl.fsf@mind.learning.cs.cmu.edu> (raw)
Hi,
for some reason my /home directory was down for a while and I think that hosed
my .news* files. When I started gnus again, it complained about
Creating directory: no such file or directory, /home/swa/Mail/mail/misc
I never asked gnus to create that directory in the first place; unfortunately,
gnus refused to continue. To make gnus happy, I created that directory and
things are fine again. Is this intended? Can I change that directory to be
something different (ie some directory that is already there)?
Thanks,
Stefan.
