Subject: unreliable connections
Date: Fri, 18 Mar 2005 15:00:15 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ur7ic7mi8.fsf@gnu.org> (raw)
My connections are highly unreliable (very low timeouts), i.e., if a
socket has not been used for, say, a minute, it is useless.
Gnus is therefore very hard to use: not only it is very slow (every
connection has to timeout before it is re-opened) but I have to
constantly interrupt it and restart operations that hang.
Is there a way around?
E.g., automatic reconnection on failure?
