Subject: expiry-target to nnfolder mangles message

Hi,
I am trying to get an nnml group to expire to an nnfolder group. I am
using gnus 5.10.6.
I have set the group parameters of this nnml group to
((expiry-target . "nnfolder+archive:mail.archive"))
Now when I actually expire an article, the archive group gets a new
message that only consists of five header lines, namely From,
Message-ID:, Lines:, Xref: and X-Gnus-Article-Number:. That's it. No
subject or body.
What am I missing?
Regards,
Tom Koelman
