Subject: editing messages with IMAP
Date: Mon, 06 Dec 1999 22:00:38 GMT	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <uso1fu3rb.fsf@nospam.com> (raw)

I read my IMAP mail with Gnus 5.8.2 and nnimap. There are times that
I would like to edit a message in my INBOX on the IMAP server.

When I try 'e' in the Summary buffer (gnus-summary-edit-article), I get
a message
"The current newsgroup does not support article editing"

I can use 'C-u e' to force editing, but the message is still not changed
on the server.

Is what I'm trying to do not possible with IMAP, or am I just going about it
wrong?

Thanks,

-Jim
