Hi,
Using pgnus .88, XEmacs 21.2 b17 under NT.
I've been reading a group (alt.mountain-bike) for a while. Today, when
I pressed M-g on it, pgnus - after a not very long but noticeable
delay - showed 0 as the number of new messages (it had been several
hundred before that). More pressing M-g did not help. Pressing C-u SPC
produces "can't select group" message from gnus. Other groups seem to
work well. I can open same group in MS OE without any problems. Any
ideas?

What does the " *nntpd*" (note leading space) buffer contain right
after you press `M-g'?

I'm sorry, it's been too long ago - the problem just went away after a
couple of days. If it happens again, I'll try to check what it
contains.
