If I try to run Gnus in a split window
configuration (three windows in the case I was
testing) inside a frame, setting
gnus-use-full-window to nil will make Gnus
"respect" the split window setup when I read or
write mail, but not news. It appears from poking
around in gnus-sum that, when it comes to news,
Gnus wants to be the only window in your frame no
matter what :)

Gnus info has this to say abut the variable:

Setting this variable to `nil' kinda works,
but there are glitches. Use at your own peril.

Does anyone know why this inconsistency in Gnus
exists? Or am I mistaken in thinking thst this
behavior is inconsistent?
