Hi,
today (CVS Oort from today, 12:31 CET), I got an error on group exit
(`q' in the summary buffer). I couldn't exit the group anymore. I
had to `C-x b *Group* RET' and quit from there. Unfortunately, I'm
not able to reproduce it. Nevertheless, here's want I did:
(a) View a mail with an application/msword attachment.
(b) Cursor on the attachment button and press
`t application/msword-catdoc RET' (I have a mailcap entry for this:
application/msword-catdoc; catdoc -s 8859-1 -d 8859-1 %s; \
copiousoutput; nametemplate=%s.doc
(c) Mark some text from the doc-file output and reply (`R')
(d) Send the mail (C-c C-c)
(e) `q' in the summary buffer gave me this backtrace:

that I marked before, see step (c).
