Seems that `(nnweb-type gmane)' is b0rked. `gnus-group-make-web-group'
doesn't work either:

,----[ G w gmane RET Steib RET ]

|  . [0.0k: nobody              ] () Lars Magne Ingebrigtsen</a>.

Did ever work correctly? I recall that adding a search interface for
Gmane is still on the Larsi's ToDo list but not in production yet.
Concerning `gnus-refer-article-method':

AFAIK, it's possible to view articles referenced by ...

- group _and_ number:
  <URL: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.discuss:1875>

- group _and_ MID:

  <URL:  http://news.gmane.org/onethread.php?
  group=gmane.discuss&root=%3Cm31y73iu03.fsf%40quimbies.gnus.org%3E>

But not by MID alone (without group).

Bye, Reiner.
