Hi,

I accidentally deleted some messages. However, I haven't changed the Gnus
default for a variable (forget its name now) that causes retrieved mail to
be kept in a directory (~/News/mail/ in my case) with file names like
"Incoming22999Nfi". How can I get some of those messages back in groups?
Thanks for any tips.

`mail-source-delete-incoming' is nil by default in the development
versions of Gnus.

If you fetch from $MAIL, you may `cat Incoming* >> $MAIL'. Else you
can probably precede as described in (info "(gnus)Incorporating Old
Mail").

Bye, Reiner.
