In the summary buffer menu "Article/Display/View as different
encoding" I'm not able to use the entries [i-z]* as they don't fit
on my screen (too high).

`M-x gnus-summary-show-article-from-menu-as-charset- TAB'
offers me more than 120 completions. I guess this is too much for most
screen heights. ;-) Of course I can use `M-x ...', but _if_ there's a
menu, it should be accessible.

Bye, Reiner.

IMHO the Emacs menubar widgets should handle this. Perhaps GTK
menubars work better?

If not, I guess we'll have to split up the menu into "a-d", "d-h", ...
etc submenus. Patches that implements this is very welcome. :-)

I guess the Buffer Menu <C-down-mouse-1> does something very similar.
See the function `mouse-buffer-menu-split' in mouse.el. I'm afraid I'm
unable provide a patch for this issue. :-(

Bye, Reiner.

Should be fixed now, thanks for the pointer. That list of charset is
pretty impressive... (altough I wish it wasn't necessary at all).
