I replaced `string-to-int' with `string-to-number' in Gnus' repository
(trunk and v5-10). These changes will be synced to Emacs within a
couple of days.
(All versions of Emacs and XEmacs supported by Gnus >= 5.10 should
have `string-to-number', AFAICS.)
