hi,
I'm going to be on a business trip for about 3 weeks and I'd like to
read my mail using my existing gnus configuratin, only at a different
machine in a different country. I use the nnmh backend and have a
couple of dozen mail groups that I'd like to keep using as simply as
possible. Is this just a matter of copying over my .newsrc.eld file
and my .gnus file, and creating my root mail directory? Are there any
gotcha's I should be aware of?
thanks,
-Lyn Headley

For mail, there should not be a problem, but if you have a different
news server, you have to do something about that.
If you expect to get back after the trip, you could use M-x
gnus-no-server RET during the trip. If you want to read news during
the trip, you could create a (temporary) foreign server.
If you change news servers permanently, see the relevant section about
changing news servers in the Gnus info file.
