Subject: gnus-group-read-ephemeral-group affects solid group?
Date: 29 Jul 1998 16:28:45 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <vaf4sw0zq76.fsf@ramses.cs.uni-dortmund.de> (raw)

Is it supposed to work to GNUS-GROUP-READ-EPHEMERAL-GROUP an otherwise
`normal' group (such as nnml:mail.misc) then expect the solid copy of
the group to not be affected?

I observe that I GNUS-GROUP-READ-EPHEMERAL-GROUP a `normal' group
(such as nnml:mail.misc), then `q' out of this group, then Gnus is
confused about the marks in that group -- it thinks all articles are
unmarked. This is corrected by exiting then reentering Gnus, though.

If the above behavior is normal, then I take back that bug report
regarding this...

Using Gnus 5.6.27 on Emacs 20.2 on Solaris.
