IMAP has a uidvalidity value for each group. As long as that value
stays the same, you don't need to rescan since you know that the
article numbers have stayed the same. When uidvalidity changes,
the numbers might (!) have changed and so nnimap needs to do a rescan.
I guess the worst that could happen is that the uidvalidity value
changes every time a message is deleted from a group.
