Since Simon is doing so much work now, I hereby suggest that we fork
off a new branch for Oort Gnus.

Or rather, the FreeBSD people use a branch for the stable release and
do their development on the head.  I think this is a good idea.  This
way, people who live on the bleeding edge with CVS always get the most
recent stuff.
