Maybe this is a question for a different list, but...

If I 'm' in a bbdb buffer, bbdb uses message to compose mail. But it
doesn't honor the value of gnus-message-archive-group. I get no Gcc:
header at all when composing mail this way. 

I can't decide what the correct fix for this is.

Some people have constructed a new mail-user-agent which ensures that
Gnus is running and groks Gcc headers.  I think you ought to be able
to find it in the Gnus list archive.
