I also see this problem.  When you cite the original article when
doing a followup, the NNTP response headers get inserted into the
message buffer in addition to the message itself.  Maybe the function
that snarfs the article from the original article buffer should strip
these NNTP response headers?  I'm not sure what was happening
previously.
