I chose `emacs-mule' which seemed to work -- the resulting g3view
process displayed the image just fine.

I'm not sure what to make of this.  Hm.

The message had three parts.  The first and last part were
content-type text/plain (charset=us-ascii), content-transfer-encoding
7bit.  The middle part was content-type image/g3n,
content-transfer-encoding base64.

What's the story?
