Subject: message-mode: handle ":-)" specially for matching parens
Date: Thu, 18 Oct 2001 19:30:32 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <vafu1wwsvnr.fsf@INBOX.auto.gnus.tok.lucy.cs.uni-dortmund.de> (raw)

I vaguely recall that I added special stuff in message-mode to make
sure that in "(foo :-)", the closing paren does not match the opening
paren. Otherwise, messages with smileys will have too many mismatched
parens...

But this isn't working for me, anymore. Have I done something wrong
or has it disappeared from Gnus? If it has disappeared, why? If I've
done something wrong, I'll go look what it was.

GNU/Linux provides a nice `poweroff' command, but where is `poweron'?
