To clarify: the local host is known by the IP address 127.0.0.1 as
well as by its own IP address. The two addresses go over different
interfaces, 127.0.0.1 goes through the loopback interface, whereas the
other IP address goes through the normal IP interface. I vaguely
recall that connecting the one IP address was faster than the other,
but that's just very dim memory.
So don't use the address of `the server', just use the other address
of your own host (where leafnode is running).
