I ended up doing: Some time ago, I tried to start a discussion to make the marking commands more orthogonal, but I think nothing much became of it. I suggested that it should be possible to combine the application of any mark with any movement (no movement, backwards, forwards). Currently, for example, marking as expirable always moves forward. Why is there no command that marks as expirable but doesn't move? Even more, there should be a way to specify the kind of movement: move to next/previous message, or move to next/previous _unread_ message. kai -- Life is hard and then you die.
