Is there a MIME content-type for Encapsulated Postscript? What is it?
If there is none, should one use application/postscript instead, or
application/octet-stream?

application/postscript looks like the logical choice. The type was
defined in the draft base MIME definition RFC1522. I don't know where
it finally ended up.

RFC2046, section 4.5.2. It doesn't seem to mention EPS with a word.
There isn't strictly speaking any difference between EPS and PS. The
only difference, is that an EPS page has a bounding box for the
rendered result in a comment.
Then of course, there's EPSI which has both that bounding box and a
TIFF low-res rendering...
Why do you need to differ between EPS and PS? Eg. GhostScript will
swallow both without complaining.

Well, eps is a subset of ps, so I think application/postscript would
be ok, wouldn't it?

I think I don't need to differ between EPS and PS. So I'll use
application/postscript.
Thanks,
