Both do not use the MH programs but directly read/write the files. Given that you can use MH tools to read nnml folders (be careful not to write using MH tools, though, lest you clobber the .overview files!), do you *really* want to use the much slower nnmh backend? kai -- OOP: object oriented programming; OOPS: object oriented mistakes
