Subject: Some empty groups shown, some not?
Date: 31 Jul 1997 16:05:46 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <vafzpr3pb9h.fsf@ls6.cs.uni-dortmund.de> (raw)

Hi,

I've got two groups, both of which do not contain unread or dormand or
ticked articles. One of the groups is (correctly) not shown in the
group listing (only shown after typing L). But the other group is
shown, with a "*" in front of it!

How can this come?

See below for the group info for the group that isn't shown:

,-----
| ;;; Editing the group info for `nnml:dipl.kitz'.
| ;; Type `C-c C-c' after you've finished editing.
|
| ("nnml:dipl.kitz" 2
| ((1 . 6))
| ((reply 1))
| (nnml ""))
`-----

And this is the group info for the group that is shown:

,-----
| ;;; Editing the group info for `nnml:conf.him.97'.
| ;; Type `C-c C-c' after you've finished editing.
|
| ("nnml:conf.him.97" 2
| ((1 . 292))
| ((reply 8 21 23 25 99 103 138 143 150 166 169
| (171 . 172)
| 186 189 191 194 197 201 203
| (217 . 218)
| 220 228 239 241 243 249 255 259 262 265 267 270 275 277 283
| (287 . 288)
| 290))
| (nnml ""))
`-----

Any ideas? Wasn't there a variable gnus-always-show-groups which was
a regexp matching groups that were always to be shown? I can't seem
to find such a variable, though.
