Subject: Gnus forgets about which messages are read
Date: Sat, 26 Feb 2005 21:31:29 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <vf8fcbby.fsf@wanadoo.es> (raw)
Recently I switched to a new news server. Since, Gnus is unable to
figure out if the messages on the groups are read or not: sometimes,
after initiating Gnus, shows all messages on the groups as unread and
sometimes all as read. If I mark some messages as read, exit Gnus and
start it some hours later, all messages on the group appear read or
unread. Same happens even if I don't enter the group.
Is there a cure for this?
What I can do to know the cause of this?
I'm using 5.10.1 on Emacs 22.0.50.1 on Win2k
Regards,
