Subject: Invalid coding system: us-ascii
Date: 16 Nov 2000 22:56:47 -0500 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <vuohf57gsjk.fsf@csa.bu.edu> (raw)
Hello,
I'm trying to forward an e-mail message with a PDF attachment to
someone. When I hit C-c C-c to send the message, I get the following
error: "Invalid coding system: ascii." I've never seen this before,
and I'm not sure what's wrong. I'm using the very latest gnus from
CVS.
The relevant MIME stuff inserted into my message by gnus is:
< #multipart type=mixed>
< #part type=text/plain charset="us-ascii" nofile=yes>
(I inserted the spaces between the "<" and "#" so that I could send
this message to ding. :-)
I assume the charset="us-ascii" is the problem, but I'm not sure where
that would be coming from. Can someone let me know what I'm doing
wrong? This always worked before, as far as I know...
